This month, we held a company bbq to commemorate an incredible milestone for one of our employees. Beatriz Ramirez, who oversees Human Resources at Talley Farms, celebrated her 50th work anniversary. Yes, you heard that right, 50 years! She began working here in 1975, picking brussels sprouts out in the field. Throughout the years, she has worked her way up and now is the center point of this company for hundreds of employees. She is the first face that everyone sees when they walk into the office, always providing a friendly hello.
The loyalty Beatriz has for the Talley family is unmatched. She started when the current owners were just babies and has seen them grow their own families with kids and grandkids. She values the meaning of family in her own life, spending every Friday night with her family that lives in the area. We applaud Beatriz for this amazing accomplishment and look forward to the years to come with her!
