Christiana is near and dear to our hearts here at Talley Farms. She makes a variety of seasonal jams for us that you can add on to your Talley box, like our Blackberry Preserves and Apple Butter.
Christiana grew up in Whittier, California, where she learned to make jam from boysenberries with her mom. Her love for food grew from there as she explored baking bread and canning her own fruits and vegetables. She dove into the food world and became a Culinary Expert at Williams-Sonoma. It didn’t take her long to create her own passion project – Christiana in the Kitchen. The basis behind her platform is to generate engaging content and recipes that inspire others to cook with seasonal produce. This led her into starting Christiana’s Preserves, which is a familiar label to so many locals! It’s a small-batch, gourmet jam company that celebrates the bounty of local produce.
She is a big advocate for local agriculture and you can truly tell through the quality of her provisions. We are excited to partner up with Christiana and Talley Vineyards for a Mother’s Day weekend Jam & Rosemary Soiree on May 10th from 10am-12pm. This intimate jam-making demonstration will include a glass of wine, step-by-step class, cookbook, take-home jar of jam, and scones to eat while you watch.
