Asparagus Crescent Wraps
Ingredients
1 bunch of asparagus
1 8oz container of crescent rolls
3/4 cup of preferred cheese (I used ricotta, shredded mozzarella would also be great)
1 lemon for juice and zest
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the woody/tough ends off the bottom of the asparagus.
Roll out crescent rolls and divide them into 8 pieces.
Spread or sprinkle cheese on each crescent roll, then lay down 5-6 asparagus pieces. Roll up then place on baking sheet.
Bake in oven for 18-20 minutes until crescent rolls are golden brown, then take out of oven and let cool for 5-8 minutes.
Squeeze lemon on asparagus and sprinkle lemon zest on rolls, then enjoy!
