The secret to moist turkey burgers is adding bread crumbs and egg white. This is not a big vegetable recipe but it’s so good and healthy, we just had to share it with you!
Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1 cup fresh whole wheat bread, cut into cubes (2 slices without crust)
4 green onions, chopped
3 teaspoons dried dill weed
3 teaspoons mustard
2 egg whites, beaten to blend
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and using hands, mix thoroughly. Shape into patties (they will be very moist) and grill or broil about 6 minutes per side.
* Wine Pairing: Turkey and Pinot Noir are a great match. Turkey burgers and Pinot Noir are even better!
