Strawberry Grapefruit Paloma

Ingredients

  • 2-3 strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup tequila (I used blanco)
  • 1/4 cup fresh grapefruit juice, reserve a couple wedges for garnish
  • 1/4 cup sparkling water
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • Splash of agave nectar or simple syrup to taste
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Add strawberries and lime juice to a cocktail shaker. Use a muddler to mash down the strawberries.
  2. Add tequila and simple syrup to the shaker and fill halfway with ice.
  3. Shake well, until chilled, then strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
  4. Top off with fresh grapefruit juice and sparkling water, then garnish with grapefruit wedge.
