Turkey Taco Meat with Peppers

You can use this meat on top of salads, in tortillas or taco shells. It’s even good just plain!


  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 onion, medium size, diced
  • 1-2 sweet peppers, diced
  • 4 teaspoons ground California chile pepper
  • 1 cup salsa, mild, medium or hot!
  • 1 cup frozen or fresh corn (optional)
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed (optional)


  1. Cook the turkey meat, onion and peppers in a large frying pan on the stove until done.
  2. Add chile pepper and mix.
  3. Add salsa and mix.
  4. Add corn and black beans and mix.
  5. Cook on low until heated through.
